Crown Princess Aleksandra of Greenland, Princess of Estonia and Countess of Tartu (Aleksandra Ester Helena Irene; b. 24 May 1984 in Tallin) is the third child and second daughter of Andreas II of Estonia and Queen Ester of Estonia. She stands third in the line of succession and is preceded by her brother Crown Prince Kristofer of Estonia and her sister Princess Hanna of Estonia. As of 2002, she is a student at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. It was there that she met the Crown Prince of Greenland, with whom she began a relationship in 2003. They announced their engagement in June 2006 and wed on 7 March 2007 in Nuuk.
The Countess of Tartu is an advocate for women's rights, education, and healthcare. She has visited multiple Middle Eastern countries since she began her 'Let Them Learn' campaign in 2003. She is also an advocate for veterans and those wounded in combat, especially those with connections to Estonia and its allies.
